July 2020 - Texel Island     To get to beautiful Texel Island from Amsterdam, take the direct train (or drive an hour by car) to Den Helder. From the station hop on a bus to the ferry. The island has a very peaceful feel to it and there are nice hikes everywhere. Our favorite hike was when walking from our quant renovated farmhouse AirBnB up to the Texel Lighthouse on the north shore.
