Since crowded places were being closed down, due to covid, we decided to explore some of the outdoor attractions that the Netherlands had to offer.
The Veluwe is a forest-rich ridge of hills in the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. It features many different landscapes and is an ideal place for hiking.
It also contains one of the most interesting museums we have been able to visit, the Kroller-Muller Museum. Not only does it contain the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world: almost 90 paintings and over 180 drawings, it is located on a plot of more than 75 acres. In fact, cars are not allowed. They lend you a bike to visit the various parts of the property. It is really great.
