Birthplace of the global electronics heavyweight, Philips, Eindhoven is known as a technology and design hub in Europe. It is also refered to as the design capital of Holland!
We went for two nights for Sarah's birthday and stayed in the most interesting monestary-renovated-into-hotel. The city felt a little like Rotterdam, blending the old and new seamlessly. It was fantastic.

It was Sarah's brithday, so of course, we got the suite with a tub right in the bedroom where I could more easily serve her cheese, grapes, and fancy wine. :) |
